A very familiar face and name in BIGG circles; Bruce Hancock was awarded Barossa 2025 Citizen of the Year on Australia Day for his 40 years of exceptional service to SA's agricultural industry.
BIGG Life Member since 2020, Bruce was one of the main drivers in bringing people together to initiate BIGG in 2012. Bruce has since actively supported BIGG by providing support and direction, and financial stability through his successful wood chopping fundraisers.
Beyond BIGG, Bruce's service has included working in many key advisory and industry roles; from mentoring and encouraging youth, to creating community connections and supporting producers.
