Registrations now open for 2025 BIGG Conference ‘Moving Towards Greener Pastures’

Livestock producers, agribusiness and industry supporters from the Barossa and surrounding areas are invited to join together to connect and learn at the Barossa Improved Grazing Group (BIGG) Annual Conference on Thursday 13 February 2025, Lambert Estate, Angaston.

This year’s theme 'Moving Towards Greener Pastures' promises to offer the local livestock industry an important opportunity to gather and connect whilst gaining informative and thought-provoking insights into key topics from respected speakers.

Keynote speaker Allan Parker OAM, negotiator and behavioural brain scientist, will present on ‘improving every human Interaction with every person every day’ by assisting attendees in improving co-operation, agreement and human interactions, both personally and in business. Known for his dynamic and engaging presentation style, Allan brings a place for all, to explore and experiment with the rare blend of micro behaviours and neuroscience and its application in the real world of practical human interactions.

Another highlight is dinner speaker Greg Campbell former S.Kidman & Co Chief Executive on 'Strategy and culture in the later Kidman years'. Greg’s presentation will address the influence of family and corporate history, farm geography and market options on strategy, and the importance of culture and communication in planning and implementing strategy.

The conference program also features presentations from:

A Q&A panel featuring South Australian producers will be facilitated by Talking Livestock’s Deb Scammell discussing the topic ‘livestock farming through challenges and into the future’.
