Engaging the community and young people in NRM throughout the Barossa region

BIGG’s key communications project is funded by Natural Resources SA Murray-Darling Basin to engage with the community, and particularly young people, in NRM in grazing.

The project includes

• Monthly newsletters to BIGG subscribers (sign-up here), website and social media
• Community events for farming families
• School presentations, to give high school students the opportunity to learn about how to apply NRM principles in agriculture
• A 2016 AgTastic conference, held in conjunction with Barossa YiAg, with the theme “Making the most of your Natural Resources”.
