BIGG is excited to announce that we are now accepting expressions of interest for our 2024-25 Communications Intern – Drought Preparedness placement.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students in agriculture, animal, veterinary science, agribusiness, or natural resource management to gain skills and experience while building networks.
The intern will be mentored and actively involved in reviewing and updating the BIGG Communications Plan, managing social media, assisting with event planning, and presenting media pieces on drought preparedness and resilience.
The internship will run from 29th July 2024 to 30th June 2025, on a part-time basis equivalent to 30 days (240 hours), with the flexibility to work from home and occasional travel to the Barossa region.
Expressions of Interest are open until 5pm Friday, 19th July 2024.
This project is supported by the Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal (FRRR), through funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.
