Learn more about Diane!
I grew up on a mixed farm in New Zealand, graduated with a Bachelor of Science (plant science) worked for Agriculture NZ as a research and field technician before arriving in Australia with my family in 1997.  Since then, I have enjoyed a career in corporate irrigated horticulture and viticulture, on both sides of the Tasman. I completed a Masters of Agricultural Science (soil and irrigation management) by research at Adelaide University in 2004 and the Professional Management Programme in 2014.

In addition to my role with BIGG, I teach Pilates in the Barossa Valley – you may already know about or attend the Pilates for Farmers class on Wednesdays.  I am an auditor for Freshcare and continue to consult to horticulture and viticulture industries.  I also work with my husband Steve, supplying and installing AgTech solutions to all agricultural sectors.

As a BIGG sponsor I really enjoyed the conference in February and found there was much to learn from the high calibre presentations.  In joining BIGG I look forward to applying my strategic and project skills to the EO role to build on the excellent work that is already underway.  I also look forward to increasing my knowledge of the grazing industries.
