BIGG, joined by Fleurieu Farming Systems Group, invite producers to a field tour on Thursday 15 October, showcasing several current BIGG project sites along with a visit to the Turretfield Research Centre to hear the latest on livestock water quality.
Starting from 10am, join us for the full day or drop in for any of the following sessions:
- Lined catchment demonstration – why it was built, key requirements and the construction process
- Optiweigh in‑paddock weighing – monitoring livestock growth rates and making timely management decisions
- Perennial multi‑species pasture trial – results and learnings from BIGG’s long‑term trial
- Beef cattle weaning strategies
- Water quality technology – implementation insights and a review of Hydrosmart performance
