The Barossa Improved Grazing Group and Meat & Livestock Australia’s More Beef from Pastures invites you to its Better Bull Selection Workshop, just prior to the main bull buying season here in SA.
Including:
- A visit to Tungkillo to discuss assessing bull structural soundness with Darren Koopman.
- Dr Kiro Petrovski presenting on animal health and avoiding introducing STDs from bull purchases.
- Dr Wayne Pitchford covering breeding objectives and using BREEDPLAN to inform bull selection.
- The day will finish with a BBQ dinner.
